We had a shake out drill on Thursday
- DROP down on your hands and knees. This protects you from falling but lets you move if you need to, protects your vital organs and makes you a smaller target for falling and flying objects.
- COVER your head and neck (or your entire body if possible) under a sturdy table or desk (if it is within a few steps of you).
- HOLD on to your shelter (or your position to protect your head and neck) until the shaking stops. If the shaking shifts your shelter around, move with it.

Art Exhibition and 90 years of growing great learners
2019 Art Exhibition & 90 Years Of Growing Great Learners
On Tuesday 17 September 2019, we combined the opening of our Art Exhibition with acknowledging the school’s 90th Birthday. The exhibition opened at 9.00 am with a guest speaker, singing our school song and cutting a birthday cake! Family, friends and former students were encouraged to look at the art and stay for a cup of tea and some birthday cake.
Room 12 thought that the exhibition was amazing and the best part was every child got to have a piece of cake.

We were getting better playing the 'Buzz game' by counting numbers to 10 in Te Reo. We had to remember say the word 'BUZZ' for the numbers 'Rima' and Tekau.
