Thank you to our lovely swimming coaches from Swimsation who taught our students about water safety. In-spite of rain and the drop in temperature some students showed 'Can do attitude' and continued their swimming sessions through out the week.

Puzzles
A group of students in the class like doing a variety of puzzles and feel really proud of themselves when they finish it. The most complicated part was that 5-6 puzzles were all mixed up but the students were persistent in sorting them.
A Fluffy visitor comes to Room 12
We had a fluffy visitor for our writing experience and guess who it was? ...
Marliee (Mrs Bhatia's dog).
We were very excited to see him.
Marliee came to visit our school. He jumped on Mrs Bhatia. He wagged his tail. He is clever and cute. Acelynn
Yesterday we saw Marliee. He is so fluffy and soft. I liked him. Bethany
I patted Marliee. He is soft and fluffy. Jaxon
Message for parents:
A note has been sent home about sharing class news. A day has been allocated for each child to share.
Oral language skills - speaking, listening and asking questions - are important skills for all children. Sharing time is a good opportunity for children to practise these skills with something they are enthusiastic about.
Please help them choose something they can talk about. It could be:
- a favourite book
- a nature find
- something they have made
- something they find interesting
- a favourite song
- something about our learning topic
- a maths problem
- a piece of writing
Please note: we do not want children to bring toys to share.
