This term we have been learning to identify and name fractions.

Abacus group in action, finding halves and quarters in shapes and problem-solving.

 Room 12 visit Nga Ringa Awhina every Monday's

Today Mr. Bennett showed us how to make tea with Kawakawa leaves.  We used hot water, Kawakawa leaves, ginger and honey. Some students liked it and some didn't.

Fun Friday

We had an amazing day on Friday after discovery Room 12 had a surprise. Our big book for shared reading was Dawn Parade. On Friday Ms. Christison and Mrs. Bhatia helped us to ANZAC Biscuits. It was yummy.

Science

We had fun looking at the bubbles, they went everywhere in the hall. There were big, small and medium bubbles. Some were humongous!- Darcy
